Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Status: Exempt  

Reports to: Director of Programs

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, recent BCBA Graduate (certification exam pending) or an experienced certified BCBA to provide behavioral services company-wide, and conduct functional behavior assessment/behavior for consumers with manipulative behaviors. Our organization supports individuals with intellectual disabilities for adults. Disabilities can include mild to severe intellectual disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, Dual Diagnoses, and/or any developmental disorder. 

Education:

Must have Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field 

Essential Functions:

  • Conducts functional behavior assessments

  • Writes behavior support plans and programs

  • Corrects and reviews behavior support plans

  • Review client notes by reading staff notes, providing feedback to staff, inputting notes during visits and reviewing data for reporting purposes

  • Integrate appropriate setting event, antecedent, teaching and consequences strategies to reduce problem behavior and increase alternative replacement behaviors.

  • Define all target behaviors in objective and measurable terms and design an appropriate data collection system to measure the target behaviors.

  • Observe the clients’ behaviors, and observe the clients’ performance during activities

  • Conducts weekly and monthly audits on behavior data and skill goals

  • Provides and oversees monthly staff training in reference to applied behavior analysis

  • Conduct new hire orientation training as well as in-service training for staff

Additional Essential Functions:

Provide RBT training and supervision to staff. · Collaborates with other clinical professional team members internally and externally Analyze available data to help determine where, when, and why problem behavior occur. 

Required Skills:

  • Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) OR recent BCBA Graduate (certification exam pending)

  • Should have 1 years of clinical experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities

  • Pass a background check and TB test

  • Valid California Driver’s license
